Get on Board…Jackoboard!

Ceramique Internationale has been appointed the exclusive distributor for the North of England for Jackoboard bathroom construction boards.

Brought to the UK by sole importer TileBacker, the German-produced range of backing board, wetroom tray systems and furniture kits will be available from Ceramique Internationale’s Leeds warehouse and for distribution across the north of England.

The extruded polystyrene foam (XPS) backing board has full BBA certification and can be used across a number of installations, including partition walls, flooring and thermal insulation. Its sturdy design properties make it easy to work with, increasing scope for creative applications such as arched or curved walls, providing the perfect substrate for the application of tiles and mosaics.

The extensive wetroom tray range includes square and linear waste options designed specifically for use with both wooden and concrete floors. Manufactured with a pre-formed slope and a variety of drain positions, the reinforced, waterproof Aqua Flat range is just 20mm thick, enabling a low profile for minimalist designs.

Jackoboard’s range of furniture kits includes seating, washstands and bath panelling and is sold in easy to assemble flat packs suitable for both commercial and private bathrooms. The high-strength board is capable of holding the weight of tiles, so they can be incorporated into room designs.
